MT4 shows Eastern European Time (EET) as a default. According to this, trading sessions begin in different countries at a different time: the European session starts at 09.00, the American session – at 15.30, and the Pacific session – at 23.00.
The volatility of each currency pair changes throughout the day, while the quotes movement becomes more intense when major news comes out.
Keep in mind the summer and wintertime difference: in the summertime, EET is 3 hours ahead of Greenwich Mean Time (GMT+3). In the wintertime, EET is 2 hours ahead (GMT+2).
The daylight saving adjustments occur on the last Sunday of March at 01:00 GMT, moving the clock an hour ahead. The change back takes place on the last Sunday in October at 01:00 GMT.
